Shumate was born in Tallahassee and grew up playing on the steps of the Old Capitol, at age three, becoming the youngest volunteer on the late Governor Lawton Chiles' campaign.
Before joining CATECOMM in 2015, Shumate was mentoring young journalists with Herff Jones Yearbooks in an 18 county territory in North and Central Florida, and previously worked on Loranne Ausley's 2010 CFO campaign as the Director of Operations and Logistics. She also served as a Student Senator at Florida State University, before graduating in 2008.
She is actively involved in The Junior League of Tallahassee and serves as a committee chair every year. She is also a founding member of the capitol city's charity kickball league, Tallahassee Kickball Association, which helps raise more than $5,000 every season for local non-profits.
Damian Cardona joined CATECOMM in 2015 following the acquisition of Unknown Media, the production company he co-founded in 2010.
Cardona is a producer, coder, and brand expert, having worked with major corporations like Speed Stick, McDonalds, eHow, and Red Bull. He has worked with CATECOMM since 2012, producing content for major political and corporate campaigns, including Charlie Crist's 2014 Gubernatorial Campaign.
He earned a graduate degree in Entertainment Business and Media Design from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
Al Krakosky is CATECOMM's visual artist, director, producer, animator and graphic designer, joining the firm through CATECOMM's 2015 acquisition of Unknown Media, the production company he co-founded.
Krakosky is one of the most sought-after digital artists in the country, having worked on digital teams for household brands, statewide political campaigns, and multi-million dollar educational platforms.
He graduated with a bachelors in Film from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
